Kyle Ingwersen, PT, DPT
Kyle grew up on a farm in Lake Park, Iowa, and moved back to the area after college with his wife, Britleigh. He is the youngest of five children, and is the son of Curt and Kim Ingwersen. Some of his favorite activities include spending time with his family, sports, and participating in community events. He attended Iowa State University and obtained a bachelor of science degree in Kinesiology, with a minor in Psychology. From there, he went on to attend Des Moines University, Physical Therapy program, and graduated with a Doctor in Physical Therapy degree in May 2016. Des Moines University emphasizes hands-on training strategies, and he enjoys being able to utilize various manual therapy treatment techniques. He was able to gain valuable experience in home health care, inpatient care, long term acute care, and outpatient orthopedic populations. Kyle’s primary focus is outpatient orthopedics with emphasis on the evaluation and treatment of injuries to the shoulder, spine, hip, knee, and ankle, as well as neurological impairments, balance disorders, headaches, post-surgical care, and various other maladies. He enjoys being able to get to know his patients personally in order to provide a more holistic approach to therapy and achieve each patients individual goals. Kyle looks forward to returning to the lakes region and starting his career as a health professional.
