Brian practiced in Clear Lake and Forest City until transitioning to Lake Mills Physical Therapy in December of 2014. Prior to Physical Therapy School he was the head Athletic Trainer at Waldorf for three years. He lives in Lake Mills with his wife Jill and two daughters, Makenzie and Kalli. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family.

She currently resides in Lake Mills with her Husband Dan and sons Cooper and Emmett. Emily enjoys participating in an adult volleyball league and going on trips with her friends.

As her sons have become older, she is spending more time in the gym watching them wrestle. Together as a family, in the summer, they all enjoy spending time at Rice Lake Golf Course.

Tara is a native of Bussey, Iowa. She joined North Shore University Health System in 2008 and worked for 11 years at an outpatient orthopedic clinic located in Buffalo Grove, IL.

Her areas of interest are in general orthopedic and post-surgical conditions of pediatric through geriatric populations, vestibular rehabilitation, and aquatic physical therapy.

When not at work she enjoys being outdoors with her husband and three children and rooting on the Hawkeyes.

Danielle is a native of Ankeny, Iowa. Danielle joined the Sports Rehab in 2011 and worked in both inpatient and outpatient setting at Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, Iowa.

She enjoys working with a wide variety of patients from pediatrics all the way to geriatric population. Areas of interest include orthopedics, post-surgical, and sports rehabilitation.

When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids.

Logan moved to Le Mars in May of 2022 after graduation. He was born and raised in Holstein, Iowa.

During his undergrad, he majored in Athletic Training and played football for four years. His love for the physical therapy profession arose from his passion for sports, strength training, and nutrition.

Logan is married to his wonderful wife, Marissa and has a baby boy. In his free time he likes to spend time at CrossFit Le Mars, golfing and fishing.

April runs our summer program Velocity, a performance enhancement program that makes athletes better. April lives in LeMars with her husband Aaron, daughters Kady, Aubree, and Kinnick, and son David.

Jill is a native of Winterset, Iowa and attended Central College in Pella, Iowa, where she met her husband, Mike. Jill was an executive assistant before coming to Le Mars Physical Therapy and her organizational skills will help her excel as the Care Coordinator Supervisor. Jill and Mike have lived in Le Mars for over 20 years and consider Le Mars home. They have three children. Michelle and her husband Zach of Le Mars; Nikki of Saratoga Springs, Utah; and Josh and his wife Chelsea of Bellevue, Nebraska. Jill and Mike are blessed to have two grandchildren, Easton and (new baby due soon). In her free time, Jill volunteers at Le Mars Bible Church as a youth leader, Women’s Ministry President, and in the audio-visual ministry.

Ellen was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri and moved to Sioux City, Iowa in 1995. She and her husband are recent transplants to Le Mars, Iowa. They love Le Mars and its friendly, small-town atmosphere! Ellen has been married to her husband, Tom, for 43 years. They have two boys; Eric (Linsey) and Cody (Hallie) and three wonderful grandchildren: Piper, Flint and Briley. Ellen has been a medical receptionist for 20 years.

Amy is an Iowa native and has lived on a farm nearly all of her life. With that background, hard work and family are an important part of life. Amy and her husband, Michael, live in Spirit Lake while Michael farms near Lone Rock. They have 4 children Cameron, Caley, Olivia and Maci.

Derek is originally from Mountain Lake, MN. He grew up frequently visiting the Iowa Great Lakes and has been with Okoboji Physical Therapy since 2021.

He specializes in working with athletes of all levels and workers compensation. Derek enjoys developing individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their movement and functional goals.

In Derek's spare time he enjoys weightlifting, disc golfing, paddleboarding, and being outside. Derek and his wife Aleysha have one daughter and live in Spirit Lake.

Kelly has over 30 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics, vestibular rehabilitation, neuro-rehab, women's health, acute and skilled care, pediatrics and home health. Kelly has 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren, 2 dogs and a cat.

Kelly and her husband Rob like spending time with their family and lots of time on the lake on their pontoon.

Dawn is a native of George, Iowa. She was a Radiology Technologist before joining Okoboji and Spencer Physical Therapy as Care Coordinator.

Dawn lives in Estherville, Iowa with her significant other Doug. In her spare time, she enjoys time by the campfires, going for walks, watching football and spending time with their family and friends.

Jeannett Palmer, born and raised in the Spencer area, currently lives outside of Everly. Jeannett has been doing a wide range of medical billing for 20+ years and joined Spencer & Okoboji Physical Therapy in June 2022 as Care Coordinator.

Dan has extensive experience with pain science education. Dan also teaches advanced physical therapy courses all over the country.

With his advanced training, Dan specializes in treating spine conditions, joint dysfunctions, sports injuries, chronic pain, postural deficits, post-operative conditions, and workers compensation injuries.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife Amy and three young children.

Farr, Distinguished Leadership Award from the Iowa PT Chapter. Sandy has volunteered in leadership positions including being past president of the Private Practice Section - APTA, 2017-2020; past Chief Delegate-APTA Iowa 2020-2023. She is a member of the Iowa Physical Therapy Association, the American Physical Therapy Association, Private Practice Section, Academy of Leadership and Innovation; Spirit Lake Noon Kiwanis and Hope Lutheran Church in Des Moines. Kim is an executive level Health Information Technology leader with twenty-five years of experience, twenty in management and eight in healthcare management. Gifted in discernment and strategic direction setting, Kim has a high sense of accountability, while individualizing people and at the same time focusing on high performance team development. Kim believes in and practices strong project management practices and his leadership style couples goal accountability with the freedom to solve problems. He understands complex technical requirements. He has worked with hospitals, health systems, physician practices, and obviously physical therapy organizations. Amy Schurman was born in Sioux City, IA and graduated from South Sioux City, NE. Amy has worked in healthcare since 1990. Amy started her career with Easter Seal and has worked with St Lukes, NWIO, Rehab Visions, Health South and CNOS. Amy’s expertise lies in front office services, billing, reimbursement and credentialing for Physical and Occupational Therapy and has been with us since 2006. Amy is married and lives in Elk Point, SD with her husband and two fur babies, Fiona, a St. Bernard, and Rocky, a black lab. She is a huge Nebraska Cornhusker fan. Amy is the proud parent of two amazing children and three beautiful granddaughters. Outside of work, Amy enjoys crafting, biking, Pilates and walks and quality time with her husband, Rocky and Fiona.
