Sandra Norby, PT, DPT, CEO and Co-FounderCEO and Co-Founder Sandra is a native of LeMars, Iowa and has been a Physical Therapist since 1989. She is an alumni of The University of Iowa where she received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science/Athletic Training and her Master's of Physical Therapy. Sandra received her DPT from the University of Montana in May, 2016. Sandra believes that all people deserve access to quality therapy services and to be treated with respect and personalized care. Her vision for the HomeTown family of clinics is where people enjoy coming to even when they are hurting. Sandra has expertise in orthopedic (muscle, bone, joint, ligaments, tendons) and is known as an expert at headache and chronic pain. She is certified in Dry Needling, loves to complete road races (for the medals) and is an avid Hawkeye fan. Sandra is passionate about her profession and has held office and volunteer positions on state and national APTA Boards and Committees. She is the 2015 Charles Harker Award Winner for Advocacy and the 2017 Federal Advocacy Award from APTA. In April of 2018, she was awarded the Olive C. Farr, Distinguished Leadership Award from the Iowa PT Chapter. She is a past president of the Private Practice Section - APTA. Sandra is a member of the Iowa Physical Therapy Association, the American Physical Therapy Association, Private Practice Section, Orthopedic Section, Health Policy Section; Spirit Lake Noon Kiwanis and Hope Lutheran Church in Des Moines. She and her husband and business partner, Kim, live in Arnolds Park and Des Moines. They are the very proud parents and grandparents of their growing family that began with their five awesome kids.
